I'm using Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I am experiencing (mainly when in IE and Windows Explorer) where the pages flip back to the previous window. Where I've say...moved through 10 pages within IE, all of a sudden the screen will flip back rapidly..right back to the opening screen. It makes it impossible at time to surf the net, because it flips back faster than I can go forward.
When this 'virus' ?? first emerged, I'd get a pop-up bottom right corner of my screen, with a box with the word 'Back' written on it and an arrow pointing left. I cannot establish whether or not it's a mouse click problem or not. It will lay dormant for a day or two...then start up again. I've used many antivirus progs without ever finding what it is. I've reformatted my drive twice in the past 3 days. I've unplugged my computer, and left it...switched it off at the rear of the CPU. Well anyway, after formatting, and reinstalling Vista, the flipping is still there...but now without the pop-up message (back) It's driving me NUTS!

Hi Eugene,

Does it "flip back" to the earliest page of history? If you say you've formatted your machine and installed Vista from a reliable source, then it could as well be a hardware problem. Are you using a wireless mouse or keyboard? If so, do you have the latest drivers installed?
